Scalloped Potatoes | Blogger in the Kitchen | DryerBuzz Eats

In this challenge we dial back the convenience of packaged potatoes to slicing and baking our own.  Again, simple ingredients become a cheesy side dish to create another winner for dinner.


Two potatoes
Two cloves garlic (optional)
1 Cup Buttermilk
2 Cups Cheddar Cheese
1/2 Cup second cheese option
1/3 Cup Vegetable Broth
2 Tablespoons Butter
Salt and paprika

We used our mandolin to slice potatoes. Layer and salt potatoes in casserole dish. In medium sauce pan, bring to slow simmer broth, buttermilk, cheeses and butter. Allow sauce to thicken then pour over potatoes.  Top with smoked paprika for tastes and garnish.
